About the exhibition
The TERRA-REP exhibition is a specialized event dedicated to reptiles, taking place in the Vogtland region of Germany. Since its inception, it has established itself as a key platform for reptile enthusiasts and terrarium keepers. The name "TERRA-REP" stands for "Terraristics and Reptiles Exhibition" and clearly reflects the focus of the event: the care, maintenance, and breeding of reptiles and other terrarium animals are at the forefront. Four times a year, a diverse community of professional sellers, breeders, hobbyists, and curious visitors gathers here.
The event is organized by Behr Reptilien, known for its commitment to responsible animal care, extensive expertise, and dedication to biodiversity conservation.
In terms of content, TERRA-REP sets high standards in its field. The exhibition covers important topics in terraristics, including the care of reptiles, amphibians, and invertebrates, as well as breeding practices, conservation issues, and the sale of terrariums, accessories, food, live plants, and specialized literature. The range of animals offered is broad and highly specialized: from snakes, lizards, and turtles to frogs and cockroaches. The exhibition also features modern lighting and climate control technologies for terrariums, attracting both beginners and experienced owners.
A defining feature of TERRA-REP is its hands-on approach to knowledge exchange. Visitors receive expert advice on care, feeding, and animal welfare right at the event. Interaction with specialists is a central element of the concept, further enriched by lectures and live demonstrations. Topics such as responsible care for exotic animals and promoting captive breeding are also key components.
Exhibitors represent a wide range: from breeders and retailers to specialized publishers, suppliers of terrarium equipment, and organizations focused on environmental conservation and ecological education. The exhibition attracts reptile enthusiasts of all ages: dedicated hobbyists, families, professionals, and educational institutions.
TERRA-REP is not just a marketplace, but a platform for exchange, education, and responsible action – for all who share a genuine passion for terraristics. Join us and be part of this unique event!
