About the exhibition

The "parentum" exhibition in Nuremberg is an annual career choice fair held in January, aimed at parents and youth. The event is organized by the Institute for Talent Development, a leading organizer of specialized exhibitions in the field of education and training in Germany. The fair serves as a platform where companies, technical institutions, universities, and other educational organizations can directly interact with young people and their parents. The goal of the exhibition is to promote dialogue about career orientation and provide information on various career paths and educational opportunities. The focus at "parentum" is on personal interaction between visitors and exhibitors. Young people have the opportunity to approach various educational institutions and companies, both independently and with their parents, to learn about career opportunities, admission requirements, as well as training and preparation options. They can compare offers and establish important contacts for their professional future. A distinctive feature of the exhibition is the diverse program, which includes lectures, workshops, and various activities. These events provide additional information on topics such as education, educational institutions, school qualifications, and internships abroad. Thus, "parentum" is unique in its attention to the specific informational needs of parents and their children during the career orientation period. The event takes place at Ofenwerk in Nuremberg—a modern yet historic venue that offers a unique atmosphere for the exhibition. Ofenwerk, originally an industrial enterprise, has been carefully restored and transformed into a multifunctional center known for its impressive architecture. Overall, "parentum" in Nuremberg provides a comprehensive platform for youth and their parents to thoroughly explore career opportunities and set a course for a successful professional future. Join us and open new horizons for your future!
