About the exhibition

The parentum exhibition in Potsdam is an innovative and promising event that takes place annually in November and serves as an important platform for career guidance and education. Initiated by IfT Institut für Talententwicklung GmbH, a leading organizer of exhibitions focused on education and training programs, parentum in Potsdam has established itself as a significant event. It brings together young people on the brink of choosing a profession and their parents with educational institutions and companies. The venue for the exhibition, OSZ I Technik Potsdam, is known for its emphasis on technical education and innovation. This creates a suitable atmosphere for the event and highlights the importance of the exhibition as a link between technical education, career guidance, and direct dialogue with potential employers and educational institutions. A central feature of parentum is the focus on personal conversations. Visitors have the opportunity to communicate directly with various educational institutions and companies, learn more about career opportunities, employment requirements, and educational prospects, allowing them to establish valuable contacts for their professional future. The exhibition covers a wide range of topics, including traditional professions, training courses, school qualifications, and opportunities for internships abroad. This extensive set of information is complemented by a diverse program of events featuring lectures, workshops, and various activities that provide young people and their parents with additional knowledge and support in career guidance. It is particularly noteworthy that parentum is not just an information exchange, but also a place of inspiration. Young people receive career choice recommendations and are motivated by the successes and feedback from experts in various fields. Another outstanding feature of parentum in Potsdam is the attention to the needs of parents. The exhibition concept recognizes the important role that parents play in their children's career decisions. They act not only as companions but also as advisors. Therefore, the exhibition offers special information aimed at parents so they can effectively support their children. In conclusion, the parentum exhibition in Potsdam is a comprehensive event focused on education and career guidance. It aims to facilitate dialogue between young people, parents, educational institutions, and employers, offering a wealth of information, networking opportunities, and concrete recommendations for informed and future-oriented career choices.
