About the exhibition

The Ostpro exhibition in Berlin was founded in 1991 and has since established itself as the leading trade fair for sales and orders of goods from East Germany in Germany. Initiated by Scot Messen & Marketing GmbH, its main goal was to create a platform for companies from the newly formed German states. The primary task of the exhibition is to provide a fresh marketing and presentation space for products from the former East Germany that have fallen into obscurity. Ostpro takes place twice a year, attracting visitors to the legendary Berlin-Karlshorst racetrack. This historic venue, known for its horse racing, gives the fair a unique atmosphere, setting it apart from other events on Berlin's cultural calendar. The exhibition is divided into two main events: "Spring Ostpro" and "Christmas Ostpro."
