About the exhibition

The Meet & Match exhibition is an annual career fair that originated in 2011 at the Carinthia University of Applied Sciences (CUAS). Since its inception, it has established itself as a key event in the career sector in southern Austria. The name of the exhibition symbolizes its mission: to connect people with opportunities – to "Meet" for personal interaction and to "Match" for the perfect combination of talents and companies. The fair takes place on the CUAS campus in Villach – a modern complex in a picturesque location with excellent transport links. Each year, it attracts several hundred visitors, including students, school pupils, and young professionals from across the region. The event is organized by CUAS, a non-profit private foundation known for its practice-oriented education in fields such as engineering, business and management, healthcare and social sciences, as well as civil engineering and architecture. Meet & Match serves as a platform for career orientation and personal development. It facilitates direct contact between companies and potential professionals, offers relevant information on job vacancies, internships, opportunities for thesis writing or part-time employment, and creates space for individual career consultations. Numerous regional and international companies exhibit at the fair, showcasing their areas of activity and informing participants about opportunities for young professionals. This creates valuable prospects for networking and career advancement for visitors. The exhibition is complemented by a range of support services, including free professional photography for resumes, resume checks by HR specialists, and career counseling – specifically for international students as well. In the "Learning Zone" in Audimax, visitors can learn about CUAS's study programs, offerings from the FH Academy for further education, and the orientation year program studyXplore. The event emphasizes both strong ties to the regional economy and an international focus. It showcases the potential of the southern Austrian labor market – dynamic, diverse, and future-oriented. Meet & Match is not just a traditional job fair. It is a meeting place, a source of inspiration, and a showcase – for talents, for companies, and for shaping professional futures. The Villach campus provides ideal conditions: modern, open, and easily accessible. We invite you to participate in the Meet & Match exhibition!
