About the exhibition
The meet@h_da exhibition is an annual career fair held in November at the Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences. Organized by IQB Career Services GmbH, which specializes in conducting career fairs at educational institutions, this event serves as a hub for interaction between businesses, students, and graduates.
The main goal of meet@h_da is to provide a platform where companies and potential employees can meet and network. Students and graduates have a unique opportunity to communicate directly with representatives from various industries, learning about corporate culture, job requirements, and entry-level positions. The event encourages participants to present themselves in personal conversations and establish valuable connections for their professional careers.
A distinctive feature of meet@h_da is the opportunity for visitors to apply online to participating companies in advance. Applications can pertain to internships, collaboration on thesis writing, part-time employment, or a first full-time job after graduation. This proactive approach significantly increases the chances of students and graduates being noticed and considered for potential positions.
Additionally, the fair offers numerous supplementary events and services. These include company presentations, where firms showcase themselves and their career opportunities. Resume checks provide visitors with professional feedback on their documents. Workshops and career talks are also held, offering valuable advice on entering the job market and career planning.
The fair takes place on the campus of the Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences, known for its practical approach to education and close ties with industry. This makes it an ideal venue for a career fair aimed at bridging the gap between theory and practice.
Thus, meet@h_da is a great opportunity for students and graduates to expand their networks, learn about various industries and companies, and take a significant step towards their professional careers. For companies, the fair is an outstanding platform for directly recruiting talented young professionals from the university. Join us!
