About the exhibition

The Youth Education Exhibition "JuBi" is the largest specialized exhibition in Germany dedicated to international travel, providing young people with a central platform for in-depth exploration of international educational and exchange opportunities. The event is organized by the independent non-profit organization "Weltweiser", located in Selm-Kappenberg, which offers consulting services in the field of education and publishes relevant materials. The goal of "Weltweiser" is to guide youth and facilitate access to international educational pathways. JuBi in Essen is part of a nationwide series of exhibitions held annually in various cities, enabling direct exchange between students, parents, teachers, and educational experts. At the heart of JuBi are programs that open international opportunities for schoolchildren, students, and young professionals—including exchanges, language trips, summer schools, au pair programs, work and travel, volunteer services, internships, and study courses abroad. The concept of a gap year is also discussed in detail. One of the main advantages of the exhibition is the opportunity for personal consultations with experts and former participants who share their experiences in a practical and accessible manner. This creates an atmosphere that is both informative and friendly. A key focus of the exhibition is scholarship opportunities, particularly the WELTBÜRGER scholarship, which offers financial support for trips abroad. These scholarships give young people the chance to gain international experience, regardless of their financial situation. Participants in the exhibition include agencies, organizations, and educational institutions from all over Germany, representing the fields of education, youth work, intercultural exchange, and travel. JuBi is primarily aimed at youth and young adults, as well as their parents and teachers who are seeking informed and personalized guidance.
