About the exhibition

The JuBi exhibition is the largest specialized fair in Germany dedicated to opportunities for studying abroad and international educational programs. It is aimed at young people interested in intercultural exchange and personal development. The name "JuBi" stands for JugendBildungsmesse (Youth Education Fair) and perfectly reflects its mission: education, cultural exchange, and personal growth in an international context. The event is organized by Weltweiser, an independent educational consulting service and publishing house that has long been providing reliable information about study abroad opportunities. What sets JuBi apart is its exclusive focus on international education and practical training: whether it’s a school exchange, a year of study abroad, working as an au pair, language courses, internships, volunteer programs, or even full-time study abroad – visitors receive personalized and detailed consultations. Popular options such as gap year and Work & Travel programs are also well represented. An important part of the exhibition is information about funding opportunities, including Auslands-BAföG (the German student funding program for studying abroad) and the WELTBÜRGER scholarship, which aims to make international experiences more accessible to young people. The exhibition features a diverse range of exhibitors: exchange organizations, language travel providers, international universities, volunteer services, au pair agencies, and educational institutions offering jobs abroad. Their common goal is to open safe and quality pathways for young people to gain experience abroad. JuBi also welcomes parents, teachers, and education professionals who support students in planning their educational paths. One of the highlights of the exhibition is the opportunity to talk directly with former participants who share honest, personal stories about their experiences – both inspiring and down-to-earth. Additionally, lectures and presentations on specific countries, programs, and application processes offer deeper insights for those seeking more detailed information. The exhibition takes place in Freiburg – a vibrant university city with an international atmosphere. The venue is conveniently located and easily accessible by public transport, bicycle, or car. Admission is free – and this is where your journey into the world of opportunities begins. Join us at the JuBi exhibition and discover new horizons!
