Special attention is given to the competence center "Energy-efficient Construction and Modernization," which focuses on innovative approaches and technologies. Visitors will be able to explore a variety of products and services presented by more than 120 exhibitors from various thematic areas, such as "Construction Management," "Interior Design and Furnishing," "Eco-friendly Construction," and "Interior Architecture." Regular free expert lectures enrich the program and provide valuable insights into current trends and developments. The exhibition is aimed at both professionals and interested citizens. The "Eigenheim" exhibition takes place at the historic Attisholz site, which stands out for its unique atmosphere and central location. Situated right on the Aare River and just three kilometers east of Solothurn, the site is easily accessible by both car and public transport. Attisholz has an impressive industrial past: it produced cellulose for over 130 years. Since 2016, Halter AG, in collaboration with the municipality of Riedholz and the canton of Solothurn, has been reimagining this site for new needs. Today, it serves as a venue for innovative and future-oriented events, such as the "Eigenheim" exhibition. The area of the site is approximately 16 hectares, equivalent to about 23 football fields, providing visitors with ample space and modern infrastructure. The exhibition center is easily accessible from all directions. Visitors can take advantage of excellent transport connections and ample parking. The central location on the Swiss plateau makes the "Eigenheim" exhibition an ideal meeting place for professionals and interested visitors.
