About the exhibition

The "Dogs and Pleasure" exhibition in Dortmund is an annual event held in May that transforms the Westfalenhalle into a giant paradise for dogs. Since its inception, the exhibition, organized by the Verband für das Deutsche Hundewesen (VDH) e. V., has become a central hub for dog lovers and professionals. As an interactive exhibition, "Dogs and Pleasure" invites visitors not only to explore products but also to discover items related to their four-legged friends and purchase them at attractive prices. Retailers, breeders, service providers, and specialized media showcase their latest products, information, and animal demonstrations. Through special Q&A sessions with experts and veterinarians, visitors can receive valuable advice on caring for, training, and feeding their dogs. A diverse program of events throughout the day makes the exhibition an engaging experience for the whole family. Breeders, associations, and clubs provide firsthand information and are ready to assist visitors. Spectacular dog demonstrations in action are an integral part of the exhibition. Retailers, breeders, and experts are on-site to answer questions and offer practical advice. The exhibition features numerous activity zones that invite visitors to participate, admire, and enjoy. The event takes place at the Westfalenhallen Congress Center in Dortmund. With modern venues and developed infrastructure, the Congress Center provides ideal conditions for "Dogs and Pleasure." The Westfalenhalle is a central event location in Dortmund, easily accessible by both car and public transport. "Dogs and Pleasure" has established itself as a must-attend event for dog lovers, offering a wide range of information, products, and entertainment for the whole family. Join us and be part of this amazing event!
