About the exhibition

CORTEM has established itself as a leading forum for innovations, technologies, and solutions in the field of corrosion prevention and surface enhancement. The annual conference takes place at the Chennai Trade Centre in southern India—a significant economic hub with a maritime heritage and strong industrial relevance, particularly for the petrochemical, energy, and heavy manufacturing sectors. The event is organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), one of the most influential industry associations in the country, known for its effective organization and close integration of business, science, and regulatory bodies. CORTEM is not just a technical conference. It is regarded as a global platform for professionals seeking to prevent material degradation and promote sustainable surface treatment practices. The program focuses on key topics such as surface engineering, coating technologies, corrosion protection, and environmentally responsible innovations. Participants are presented with cutting-edge solutions ranging from high-performance coatings and nanotechnologies to advanced cleaning and preparation processes, as well as smart sensors for corrosion monitoring. The Chennai Trade Centre offers ideal conditions for international guests and industry professionals due to its modern infrastructure, proximity to Chennai International Airport, and a wide selection of nearby accommodations and services. This setting creates a professional environment for global idea exchange on the latest developments and future-oriented technologies in corrosion technology. We invite you to participate in CORTEM and be part of this important event!
