About the exhibition

The CONTACT exhibition in Erlangen is an annual corporate networking event held in November, serving as an important platform for information exchange between industry representatives and students from technical and scientific faculties. Since its inception, the exhibition has become a significant event in the region and is organized by CONTACT GbR with the support of ETG Kurzschluss e.V. The exhibition features companies from various sectors. Here, you can meet both regional medium-sized and family-owned businesses as well as international corporations that share insights into the world of oil refining, the automotive industry, and software development. This reflects a wide range of technical working environments. A distinctive feature of the CONTACT exhibition is its innovative matching system, which allows visitors to quickly identify which companies offer job vacancies and internships in their field of study. This facilitates contact between students and potential employers and enables companies to seek qualified young professionals. The exhibition serves not only as a platform for employment and internships but also provides opportunities for direct job offers to students and contract signing. Additionally, visitors can learn about the philosophy and working processes of companies and engage in discussions with industry representatives. Each year, the exhibition is enriched with a variety of seminars and lectures. Topics such as the application process and specific technical issues are discussed, providing visitors with valuable information for their further professional development. Another highlight of the CONTACT exhibition is the complimentary offering of waffles, coffee, water, and popcorn for visitors, emphasizing the friendly and welcoming atmosphere of the event. The exhibition takes place at Tentoria, located in the heart of the Technical Faculty of Friedrich-Alexander University in Erlangen. Its convenient location makes the exhibition easily accessible by car, bicycle, and public transport. Clear navigation is also provided from the Erlangen South and Technical Faculty stops, as well as from the entrance on Kauerstraße with Kurt-Schumacher-Straße. We invite you to participate in the CONTACT exhibition!
