About the exhibition

The Career Information Exhibition in Salzburg (BIM) is an annual event that has established itself as one of the central platforms for career orientation and education in Salzburg and the EuRegio Salzburg - Berchtesgadener Land - Traunstein region. It was created to connect educational institutions with potential students, learners, and professionals. The exhibition takes place every November and is organized by Messezentrum Salzburg GmbH. BIM is an important educational exhibition in western Austria, primarily aimed at 8th and 9th-grade students, but also targeting parents, teachers, and anyone interested in educational and training opportunities. It provides a comprehensive platform where companies, schools, social institutions, and representatives of the public sector can showcase their programs, products, and services. Visitors can also receive valuable advice and support for planning their education and career in the "Tips and Recommendations" section. The range of participants at the BIM exhibition is diverse: in addition to companies from various sectors, educational institutions also present their offerings. This includes a wide spectrum from vocational schools to universities and universities of applied sciences. Additionally, social institutions and the public sector provide information about their areas of work and career opportunities. The exhibition emphasizes practical significance and relevance. It allows direct interaction with professionals and offers practical workshops, as well as lectures that highlight the latest trends and developments in various industries. Special attention is often given to interactive elements, such as the opportunity to try out different professions hands-on or learn about the latest technological advancements. Messezentrum Salzburg serves as the venue for the exhibition, offering ideal conditions for an event of this scale with modern infrastructure and a central location. It is easily accessible by public transport and has ample parking, making it an attractive location for visitors from nearby and distant regions. We invite you to participate in the BIM exhibition and discover new opportunities for education and career!
